Dispute Resolution Services
Adam has extensive experience resolving civil disputes, and has conducted proceedings in all levels of court in Ontario, various tribunals and the Supreme Court of Canada. If your legal issue is not yet in court, Beaches Legal can assess your evidence, and your legal rights, advising you on your options, with advice on how to proceed.

Wills and Estate Planning & Administration
Beaches Legal provides wills and estate planning consultations with a focus on ensuring clients’ objectives are met while minimizing taxes and probate fees to be paid by their estates. Issues addressed include the distribution of your estate and the residue of your estate, whether or not to grant your executors access to your social media accounts and online passwords, care for minors, and the use of dual wills in appropriate cases to minimize the need for probate and its time and expense.
Powers of attorney for property and for personal care are also available for a nominal charge when completing your will. All wills include an affidavit of execution for use in probating estates, along with the necessary witnesses, and notarization.
Beaches Legal assists clients with the estate administration process, including making applications for a Certificate of Appointment as Estate Trustee, selling and otherwise dealing with estate assets, advising estate trustees and obtaining the necessary clearance certificates from taxing authorities.
Estate Litigation
When disputes arise, Beaches Legal is able to assist with estate litigation services, including bringing and responding to applications in the Superior Court of Justice and dealing with any appeals.

Tax Law
Adam has over a decade of experience in dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency for clients, addressing their legal issues. If you have an internal legal issue with the Canada Revenue Agency or want to appeal a decision to court, Beaches Legal can help.
We can help with addressing the interpretation of the Income Tax Act, Excise Tax Act and other legislation of the taxing authorities.
Where government programs are available to clients, such as for amounts owing for taxes, interest and penalties, we can advise you on your options.
Examples of such programs include applications for fairness, voluntary disclosures, and other routes of appeal to the government to reduce or reverse amounts owing.
While each case will be determined on its merits, Beaches Legal has had excellent success for clients over the years in dealing with taxing authorities, reversing amounts owing for penalties and interest and successfully having clients enrolled in the Voluntary Disclosure Program of the CRA.
Minor Variances for Property Development
Beaches Legal has experience obtaining minor variances from government authorities. Services include making applications and dealing with any opposition or appeals.

“Adam Ezer, who was representing Lezell, told the CoA that the variances were minor and the original proposal from 2021 had been redesigned in order to preserve the look of the building.
“What we’re dealing with here is a local community centre that wants to expand and was unable to operate their daycare in the last three to four years due to the constraints of the building,” said Ezer, “The new design is trying to keep the original nature of the building while allowing the developers to develop it.” The CoA unanimously agreed that the zoning variances being sought were in fact minor.”
Adam appeared before Ontario Municipal Board member Sylvia Sutherland who used her authority to overrule the municipality of Minden Hills and permit a septic system to be installed within 15 metres of waterways, as required by Ontario’s Building Code. A variance to the municipality’s 30 metre requirement from waterways was granted based on expert evidence adduced by Beaches Legal.
