Wills and Estate Planning
Beaches Legal provides Wills and estate planning consultations with a focus on ensuring clients’ objectives are met while minimizing taxes and probate fees to be paid by their estates. Issues addressed include the distribution of your estate and the residue of your estate, whether or not to grant your executors access to your social media accounts and online passwords, and care for minors.
Dual Wills are also available, to minimize probate fees and make the distribution of your estate as simple as possible, bypassing the need for probate court on eligible assets.
Powers of Attorney for property and for care are also available for a nominal charge, when completing your Will.
All Wills and Powers of Attorney include an Affidavit of Execution for use in probating estates, along with the necessary witnesses, and notarization.
Tax Law
Adam has over a decade of experience in dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency for clients, addressing their legal issues. If you have an internal legal issue with the CRA, or want to appeal a decision to court, Beaches Legal can help.
We can help with addressing the interpretation of the Income Tax Act, Excise Tax Act and other legislation of the taxing authorities.
